After a couple weeks of discussions with people “in the know” and who have been around this age group for several years from before the 2015 Brick Tournament and through this spring hockey season, we have come up with a working list of the top 20 prospects in the 2005 born age group.

The general consensus is that British Columbia and Saskatchewan are extremely strong at the top of this age group, especially with the forward depth but also have a few defenseman worth keeping an eye on.  Alberta have a few high end prospects but not to the extent of the above two provinces.  Manitoba have good prospects but perhaps not the amount of high end talents as the rest of their western Canada foes.
