Many of the top BC 2003 and 2004 born prospects will be taking part in the Pacific Elite Prospects Tournament this weekend.

The BC Bears are led by the likes of top 10 overall ranked Trevor Wong and a deep, strong defense with the likes of Gabrielson, Adrain, Samson, Carmichael.  Thomas Milic in goal is steady.  Up front, Chase Sandhu, Dylan Fader, Holden Cardinal and Caedan Bankier provide ample offence.  The Bears are one of the favorites and loaded with draft picks for the coming year in our opinion.  Yogi Svejkovsky is a highly regarded coach leading this team.

The Vancouver Selects Blue have a big, strong d-core led by Evan Riesen and Nolan Bentham who should both go fairly high in the bantam draft.  Kobe Verbicky is a offensive player to watch and Brayden Melnyk and Andy Vlaha handle the goalie duties.

The BC Lightning feature a strong defence as well with the likes of ranked prospects Graham Sward, Alex Serraglio, Jake Sherwood, Brendan Pentacost.  Up front, Logan Stankoven who is ranked as a top 5 prospects leads the way and is helped by his soon to be Yale teammate Jake Chiasson and Fin Williams.  Mason Dunsford and Nathan Kirkpatrick provide solid goaltending.  The Lightning have a good chance to win this tournament led by coach Tim Preston.

The Langley Rivermen have a few high end prospects to watch led by Japanese Youtube star – Aito Iguchi.  Matt Seminoff, Keean Fisk, Aidan Roy and Adam Grenier give them so other good options.  The defense core doesn’t have a high ranked player at this point but Nico Oakland is a goalie we are watching closely and believe he will be a draft pick.

Other top prospects taking part from the other teams….William Yee (Selects Hockey), Sammy May (BC Kodiaks), Kai Daniells (BC Kodiaks), Josh Wessels (BC Kodiaks).
