The Alaska Jr. Aces are winners of the USHL Labour Day Tournament today down in San Jose California. They defeated the host – San Jose Jr. Sharks by a score of 7-0. The Jr. Aces had a perfect preliminary round leading up to the playoffs, going 4-0 while outscoring the opposition 25-3. Daniel Ramsey led the way for the Jr. Aces in the tournament with 5-4-9 while Gunnar Stadem, Joshua Boyer, Mac Fair and John Hammer all had 7 points. Ryan Danner and Michael Carranza each had 9 points in the tournament for the Jr. Sharks to finish atop the scoring leading board along with Ramsey. Eric Yancey for the Jr. Aces and Ryan Howell of the San Diego Jr. Gulls each had a 0.67 GAA in 3 games played with Yancey leading in the save percentage category with a .947.
There is a six team tournament taking place in San Jose this weekend. The Alaska Jr. Aces, San Diego Jr. Gulls, San Jose Jr. Sharks, Colorado Rampage, Anaheim Wildcats and the Anaheim Jr. Ducks 2 are taking part. To this point, there have been three games completed.

San Diego Jr. Gulls 7 – Anaheim Wildcats 1
Isaac Che picked up 3 goals and 2 assists while Jesse Lycan picked up 2-1-3 in the win. Top 45 ranked G – Jagger Denys picked up the win, stopping 19/20.
Colorado Rampage 5 – San Jose Jr. Sharks 4
Blake Buchanen picked up 1-2-3 to pace the Rampage to the win and Luke McFarlane picked up 1-1-2. For the Jr. Sharks, Michael Carranza had 1-1-2.
